The Minnesota Boat Club could not have been a better choice for Sarah and Jim's wedding. (They met on their college's rowing team!)

Check it out on Brides and Weddings!

Colleen and Mike's beautiful wedding day was full of bright flowers, classic details, and, of course, lots of love!

Take a look at the beautiful wedding on Every Last Detail!

Megan met Dan through a friend who swore she'd found the perfect guy for Megan to marry. She agreed to meet Dan the next time he was in town, which just so happen to be the very next weekend. They met for drinks, and the rest, as they say, was history.

They had a beautiful barn wedding in Wisconsin. See all the details on Artfully Wed.

Tyler and Erika first met on a blind date. "We met... for dinner-- shared food, wine and stories," described Erika. "We didn't want [the night] to end, so we walked on Summit looking at the historic homes on a chilly October night, and we stopped for dessert. We are now living right off of Grand in St. Paul... and often take the same 'stroll' as we did on our first date. After our second date, TJ (Tyler John) made up a hashtag-- #adventuresofeeejandteej. This stuck with us... every date, cooked dinners and experiences together we put it in our own little digital photo book."

The couple was engaged six months after their first date, and were married in June at the Catholic church at St. Catherine University, with their reception at the elegant Saint Paul Hotel. Photographed by Erin Johnson, details and decor were kept classic and elegant. "I wanted white flowers to keep it simple and fresh, but with the added the element of mixed metals to keep it modern," said the bride.

Ben and Karin grew up on opposite sides of the Twin Cities, and shared a love of running, hiking and skiing. "Ben proposed after a day of skiing in Lusten, overlooking the sunset on a peak in the North Shore with our dog, Boden," said the bride. "We promised we would make that hike at least once a year, even if we get to the age when we can barely walk. We have a love for nature, outdoors and spending time adventuring in it."

When Ben and Karin began looking for wedding venues, the Afton Alps in Hastings, Minnesota was the perfect fit. "We loved the gigantic windows, the green ski slopes in the background, and its proximity to Afton State Park. We both spent time at Afton Alps skiing and snowboarding as kids and throughout high school. It has always been a fun place to adventure and spend time outdoors." For decorations, the couple kept the ceremony venue simple, and stuck with an array of wildflowers and succulents (the bride's favorite) for the homemade bouquets. They also used pieces of a birch tree that had recently fell down in Karin's parents' yard for the table centerpieces at the reception. Guests enjoyed an impressive variety of cheesecakes for dessert in lieu of a traditional wedding cake.

Sean is a successful musician in the Twin Cities, and he also happens to run Trivia Mafia, a local bar trivia company. Rachel and her friend decided to start doing bar trivia as a way to get out of the house, and he was the host at Sunday night trivia at the 331 Club in Northeast Minneapolis. Sean and Rachel met and gradually started talking more and more, and then finally one day (10 months after she started attending trivia) he asked for her number. Rachel was so oblivious, she remembers thinking “I wonder what he wants that for?!” They dated for two years before they got engaged. Rachel knew he was going to propose, because they had talked about it and he told her he was driving to visit ner parents (in Fargo) to formally ask for Rachel’s hand. Then on a Sunday morning in October, he suggested they go out to Lake of the Isles and take a look at this boat race some of his friends were doing. He played it so cool that Rachel didn’t even suspect anything, so she went out in a hoodie, unshowered, with no makeup. Turns out there was no boat race; it was just an excuse to get her to go to that spot. Then boom, she turned around and he was down on one knee! He really managed to surprise her, which is no easy feat.

Rachel and Sean are a perfect couple, and that’s no trivial matter!
